St Mirren have completed their eighth signing of the summer after Cole Kpekawa joined on a two-year deal.
The towering defender had been on trial with the Paisley outfit and has done enought to impress manager Alan Stubbs to finalise terms with the club.
The former England youth internationalist,22, came through the youth academy at Queen's Park Rangers and has also played for Colchester United, Portsmouth, Leyton Orient, and Barnsley.
Whilst he has never played more than ten games for any of his clubs, he did come off the bench to play in the Premier League in a 5-1 defeat for his boyhood side.
Kpekawa joins Paul McGinn, Cody Cooke, Jim Kellermman, Jeff King, Hayden Coulson, Josh Heaton, and goalkeeper Danny Rogers in making the switch to the Simple Digital Arena.
He goes straight into the squad for tonight's opening game in the Betfred Cup away to Kilmarnock.
