Neil Lennon reckons Celtic's 10-point lead has given his side a huge psychological advantage heading into the next Old Firm derby on March 31.

The Parkhead boss says all the pressure is on their city rivals after Odsonne Edouard's last-minute winner in their 1-0 victory at Dens Park. He said: “Is there a bit less pressure going into the Rangers game? Yes. I think so. It means we don’t have to win it. The gap between first and second now is bigger than second and third - and that’s significant for us.”

James Forrest, meanwhile, reckons Lennon is the natural fit for the Parkhead hotseat after enjoying his wild celebrations at the end of the victory in Dundee. He said: “He’s been in a couple of weeks now and it feels as though he’s never been away. It just feels right him being at Celtic. He’s been a massive character at Celtic and done loads for the fans, so I think the club acted really quickly and it’s worked out well."

In Govan, the disciplinary debate rumbles on as Nikola Katic takes a swipe at Kilmarnock for their physical approach to Saturday's draw at Ibrox. The Croatian commented: "In the second half they made bad fouls that was like rugby. To be honest I have been really surprised because I didn't expect this. The tempo in the Scottish League is maybe one of the highest in the world."

With Scotland's Euro 2020 qualifier against Kazakhstan on Thursday, Alex McLeish was quick to talk up Manchester United star Scott McTominay, tipping him as a future Scotland great... although warning fans not to expect George Best. He said: "He has already got the Man United DNA, as wee Ole keeps saying, and we believe he will be a great player for Scotland. When Darren Fletcher came into the Scotland team everyone was asking ‘why is he not playing like George Best?’ That was just because he played for Man United."

But there's bad news on the injury front for McLeish, with Jordan Archer, Barry Bannan and Charlie Mulgrew all out of the match in Astana.

Elsewhere, Liverpool full-back Andy Robertson will also miss the Kazakhstan game for surgery on a mouth abscess, according to the The Sun, with Liam Kelly of Livingston and Kilmarnock's Stuart Findlay called up.

Alfredo Morelos also told the Daily Record he blames "bad refereeing decisions that altered my temperament" for the spate of yellow and red cards the striker has received since joining Rangers from Helsinki.

In rugby, Magnus Bradbury told the BBC he believes Scotland's dramatic Six Nationsdraw with England could be a watershed moment for the national team.
