NEW Rangers TV commentator Clive Tyldesley has told how he will be biased towards the Ibrox club from the gantry.

The former ITV commentator was revealed as the new voice of Gers TV and he will make his debut today as Steven Gerrard's side face off against St Mirren.

And ahead of his first game at Ibrox, the iconic voice of football on international and Champions League games of the past, has explained where his loyalties will lie.

He said: "Will I be bias today? Yeah I will because everyone who is watching Rangers television will want Rangers to win.

"They are my audience, they are the people I am communicating with today.

"My job will be an awful lot easier if Rangers play well and win, so yeah I will be a little bit biased.

"But will I be objective? Yes I will.

"If St Mirren are the better team and outplay Rangers today and win deservedly I will say so.

"So Rangers TV fans thank you for your warm welcome, but if your team are rubbish today I will say so."

Tyldesley will share duties with current Rangers TV stalwart Tom Miller for Ibrox clashes.

The club have also revealed that BT Sport's Emma Dodds will present and club legends Walter Smith, Graeme Souness, Neil McCann and Alex Rae will be involved in coming weeks as panellists and expert analysts as well as pundits.
