The Paisley Pirates recorded their first live podcast at the Wynd Centre this month.

The event, which took place on September 12, was attended by a large number of fans who enjoyed the rare chance to hear from club legends.

Hosted by Calum Wilson, the podcast featured two club icons: Phil Connor and former captain John Kidd, heroes of the club’s 1997 Scottish Cup victory.

The live podcast was a mix of laughter, memories and fan interaction.

Comedian Neil “The Wee Man” Bratchpiece warmed the club up with jokes before the conversation took a more reflective turn.

Kidd and Connor shared stories from the 1997 Cup victory, life playing for the Pirates and how grassroots hockey in Scotland has changed.

Fans were also given the chance to ask questions, ranging from tactical queries to personal recollections.
