Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses after a teenager was struck by a vehicle in Paisley.
The 18-year-old man is in a critical condition following an accident in the town's Wellmeadow Street.
The incident, near to Lady Lane, happened at around 5am on Saturday.
Emergency services attended and the man was taken to the Royal Alexandria Hospital and subsequently transferred to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
Medical staff describe his condition as critical.
Officers from the Renfrewshire and Inverclyde Divisional Road Policing Unit are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have information to contact them at Greenock Police Office on the non-emergency number, 101.
