Young people in Renfrewshire are being given the chance to join a leading car company as apprentices.
The Arnold Clark Group is offering 16 youngsters the opportunity to learn skills and gain a recognised qualification in the motor industry.
The apprentices, aged 16 to 19, will receive on-the-job training at an Arnold Clark branch and attend a number of training blocks.
Many will have the opportunity to move on to more senior roles after qualification.
Danielle Hume, a 2016 graduate apprentice, said: “When I was at school, we had an open day and an Arnold Clark representative spoke to us about the apprenticeship, so I just applied as soon as I finished school.
“I’ve always wanted to work for a big company because I think the job security is better.”
Each apprentice is assigned a mentor who guides them through the three-year training programme.
The closing date for applications is April 30.
