A SPOT of rain couldn’t dampen the spirits of revellers at Paisley First’s Summer Festival of Fun.

County Square was alive with the sound of music at the Unsigned Showcase hosted by Loud ‘n Proud and Brick Lane Studios Paisley.

Rocking out in the the town centre was a plethora of local acts including The Asuras, The Vanities, Lemonhaze, Delphi and Turkey Nuts.

And ensuring the entire family was entertained, there was tonnes of fun for kids inside the Piazza.

Davro the magician dazzled the crowds while little ones settled down to some story-time from The Village Storytelling Centre.

Eileen Heron, project leader for Paisley First said: “It was a fun-filled day for all the family.

“There was a band showcase with five local acts and kids were kept amused by Davro the magician.

“Despite the rain, the brilliant bands brought in a good crowd and there was a fantastic atmosphere.

“Families also enjoyed chilling out to stories inside so everyone was happy.”

She added: “Our final event of Paisley First’s Summer Festival of Fun is the Paisley’s Got Talent final.”
