KIDS are being urged to make sure they leave enough time to send their Christmas wish-list to Santa.

With less than six weeks to go until the big day, Royal Mail is offering to help little ones post their letters to the North Pole.

Last year, Royal Mail delivered hundreds of thousands of special letters to Santa.

Alex McConnell, Royal Mail’s chief elf, said: “We are proud that, for over 50 years, Santa has allowed us to help manage the special letters he receives from boys and girls across Renfrewshire and East Renfrewshire.

“His special team of elves at Royal Mail enjoy taking a peek at what children are asking for and helping Santa reply to these special letters.

“Remember to include your full name and address on your letter, so Santa can reply to you.”

Children are asked to write to Santa by no later than Friday, December 8.

Letters can be sent to Santa’s Grotto, Reindeerland, XM4 5HQ.

Royal Mail bosses are also reminding people of the last recommended posting dates for Christmas.

Second-class mail should be sent no later than Wednesday, December 20, while the deadline for first-class mail is Thursday, December 21.
