POLICE have launched a search for a Paisley man who has breached the terms of his release from prison.
Alexander Muir, 29, was last seen in July 2018 and cops have grown increasingly worried for his whereabouts after he was released from HMP Low Moss in Bishopbriggs.
Officers have been carrying out extensive enquiries in the areas he is known to frequent including, Ayrshire, Glasgow and Renfrewshire.
He is described as white, 5ft 10 in height and of slim build with red hair.
Sgt McMillan from Paisley Police Office said:“We are currently looking to trace Alexander Muir, who has breached his licence conditions since being released from HMP Low Moss, and are appealing to anyone who has any information regarding his whereabouts to come forward and contact us.
Paisley Police Office can be contacted through 101, alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
