All the donated items will be uplifted and distributed to those most in need.

Jim Crawford of SMiSA said: "As a forerunner to tomorrow's Renfrewshire Foodbank Appeal at the St Mirren stadium, this morning we were welcomed by the St Mirren management team and all the players at Ralston Training Facility.

"All the coaching and playing staff contributed to help boost the appeal by donating over 100kgs of much needed foodstuff. We are very grateful to everyone who contributed at Ralston as their donation has set the ball rolling for another bumper collection tomorrow."
