A popular skatepark in Renfrew is set to close for around three weeks for "essential" repairs.
The facility in Robertson Park will shut on Wednesday, 31 May to allow for work to be carried out at the site.
Councillor John Shaw, who represents Renfrew North and West, shared details provided by council officers about the temporary closure in a Facebook post.
The notification sent to councillors states: "I write to advise that it will be necessary to close the skatepark in Renfrew to carry out essential repairs.
"The closure will commence after the holiday weekend on May 31 and last for approximately 3 weeks, depending on the weather.
"We fully appreciate that there is never a good time to close a popular facility like the skatepark, however the weather required needs to be warm and dry.

"We hope that carrying out the essential work now will prevent any disruption over the school summer holidays.
"The work planned aims to ensure the skatepark remains safe and it may be necessary to return later in the year for a second phase of works."
