1. A wreath was laid at the Victoria Cross monument in Hawkhead Cemetery, Paisley, as part of Armed Forces Day.
2. Depute Provost John Caldwell hosted a civic welcome for the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders following their parade through Renfrewshire.
3. Playgroup Johnstone Teeny Tots were out in force for a sponsored walk to raise some vital cash for their club.
4. Eight local nursery, primary and secondary schools gathered at Reid Kerr College for the final of Renfrewshire Council's Dragons' Den competition.
5. Bridge of Weir Primary landed its third consecutive Green Flag Award after carrying out a series of projects at the school.
6. Schoolkids were given a glimpse of the multi-million-pound development of Dargavel Village as part of a 'Past, Present and Future' project at Bishopton Primary.
