Kids at Dargavel Primary were treated to a feast of more than 60 pizzas, thanks to a local takeaway.

Primary five pupils at the school were recently set the challenge of designing their own pizza by staff from Enzo's, in Dalgety Drive, Bishopton.

The children were given the option of making savoury or dessert pizzas, with a maximum of four toppings.

Each of their creations were then made and delivered to the school by Enzo's, along with some "surprise" pizzas for the teachers.

Staff at the takeaway are also planning to pick their favourite design and sell it under the name 'Dargavel Primary Special' for several weeks.

Pupils at Dargavel Primary were full of praise for the staff at Enzo's for their generosity.

Callum McEwen told the Gazette: "I was very very excited building up to it. It was very delicious and I hope we can do other activities like this in the future.

"I want to say thank you to Enzo's for the pizzas because it was very kind of them."

Louise Chisholm, depute headteacher at Dargavel Primary, added: "We are thrilled to work with Enzo's in this project and we are so grateful for the generosity from one of our local partners.

"The children had a lot of discussion around the different ingredients and considered what combinations would work well together.

"The children were buzzing when they were each delivered their own personalised box. These are really memorable experiences for our pupils."
