A number of apprentice IT positions are on offer in Erskine.

A total of 22 local roles, which begin in September, are being provided by QA Scotland in partnership with DXC Technology.

Gillian Gallagher, of QA, said: "If you are interested in building a career for a global and reputable company, have five National 5s with Maths and English, this is a great career opportunity.

"It may be that you are the one in your family everyone asks for technical help, or you may have an interest in IT and digital, if so, then check out what is on offer in Erskine."

The openings in Erskine are just some of the exciting apprenticeships offered by QA to young people across the area.

Chris Shekleton, director of QA Scotland, said: "If you have not yet decided on your future, or if you are in an interim job, waiting for the right opening, then it may be that an apprenticeship is the way forward. There are excellent opportunities out there.

"And if you think you don’t have any relevant qualifications or experience, that is not a barrier, with an apprenticeship you learn on the job and you earn while you learn."
