TWO people have been arrested after cops seized thousands of pounds worth of drugs from a property in Paisley.

It comes after officers swooped on a property in the town on Friday, June 23, and recovered a “large quantity” of drugs totalling an estimated street value of £35,800.

A man and woman were arrested in connection with the search.

A spokesperson for Renfrewshire Police said: “On Friday, June 23, officers from the Violence Reduction Unit carried out a search under warrant at a property in the Paisley area.

“Officers recovered a large quantity of drugs totalling an estimated street value of £35,800.

“A male and female have been arrested in connection with this.
