3. Sprightly youngsters proved they were a runaway success at their annual sports day. In the lead up to the summer holidays, pupils unleashed their competitive side during an action-packed day at Kilbarchan Primary.

4. Youngsters celebrated their final moments of being primary kids at a special P7 leavers’ dance. They enjoyed a glitzy affair at Kilbarchan Primary and were joined by well-wishers throughout the village.

5. Busker Murdo Mitchell from Kilbarchan was belting out 60s singer Donovan's hit Colours when the man himself suddenly emerged from the crowd. The Scottish singer spotted the youngster playing his guitar in Glasgow before deciding to join in and play two of his own hits.

6. Former football star John Hartson presented National Construction College Awards to outstanding young apprentices throughout Inchinnan.
