Residents at a Renfrew care home had fun at a summer fete staged by staff at the weekend.
More than 100 people took part in the special event at Craigielea Care Home, in French Street, on Saturday, July 29.
Sarah Speirs, service manager at Craigielea Care Home, said everyone had a "great time" at the fete.
She told The Gazette: "Families, staff and residents were all up dancing, with the residents' favourite entertainer Tommy Twigg singing at the event.
"There were hotdogs, filled rolls, cakes, scones and lots of homebaking on offer, along with tea, coffee and juice.
"We had a bouncy castle, as well as face painting and stick-on tattoos, so children could come along and enjoy themselves too."
A total of £868 was raised at the fete through various stalls and activities, such as a raffle and tombola.
Renfrew's Tesco store, butchers A Bannatyne and Gravity Active Entertainment, in XSite Braehead, were among the businesses that donated prizes.
The money raised is being used to fund residents' visits to locations such as Dobbies Garden Centre and St Mirren Stadium.
Sarah Spiers added: "The entrance at Craigielea has a large foyer area, which we have turned into a coffee shop where families and residents can come together and spend time together.
"We are also going to buy a projector and turn that area into a cinema in the late afternoon and in the evening, so residents have a good quality of life."
