UPDATE: The slip road is now open but is restricted. Delays expected.
A VEHICLE fire has led to the closure of a slip road on a busy motorway near Renfrewshire this afternoon.
It comes after Traffic Scotland confirmed that the slip road on the M898 near Erskine is currently closed southbound onto the M8 westbound at junction 30 due to the blaze.
Drivers are being warned that traffic is building up in the area due to it.
