999 crews raced to a three-vehicle smash in Paisley yesterday afternoon.

It comes after the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) was called to the incident on Niddry Street at 1.32pm on Tuesday, October 10.

Two fire vehicles were sent to the scene.

Once arriving at the accident, one casualty was rescued by the service and handed into the car of the Scottish Ambulance Service.

A spokesperson for SFRS said: "We were alerted at 1.32pm on Tuesday, October 10, to reports of a road traffic collision involving three private vehicles on Niddry Street, Paisley.

"Operations control mobilised two appliances to the scene, and one casualty was rescued and handed into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.

"Crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe."
