1. Renfrew woman Eilidh Pollock won a Heart Hero Award from the British Heart Foundation Scotland after tirelessly training people in her community to become lifesavers.
2. Kenneth, of Kilmacolm, donated part of the bumper £10,000 bingo jackpot he won to Macmillan Cancer, the charity that cared for his dying wife Victoria.
3. Renfrewshire Council's procurement team was highly commended in the Team of the Year category at the Government Opportunities (GO) Awards Scotland.
4. Youngsters and staff at ABC Childminder's paid a visit to Renfrew Care Home to sing some spooktacular Halloween songs to residents.
5. Caring pupils at Fordbank Primary, in Johnstone, amassed a mountain of tinned goods and packaged meals to donate to Renfrewshire Foodbank.
6. Fearless pharmacy workers from Johnstone took part in a mountainous challenge by climbing Ben Nevis in aid of Carers Trust.
