A woman has been arrested after an alleged attack was carried out on a railway worker.
Officers were called to Paisley Gilmour Street Railway Station on Saturday night amid reports of an assault.
A woman was arrested in connection with the alleged incident.
The condition of the railway worker is unknown.
British Transport Police have been contacted for further information about the incident.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: "A female was arrested at Paisley Gilmour Street Railway Station last night following a report of an assault on a member of rail staff.
"Violence on the rail network will not be tolerated and a report will be submitted regarding the alleged offence."
