4. Corinne Hutton, of Lochwinnoch, who lost her hands and feet after suffering pneumonia was battling to raise £250,000 for bionic limbs.
5. Gareth Scott, from Johnstone, was named the sportscotland Young Volunteer of the Year in recognition of his tireless work as a voluntary coach.
6. Talented pupils have been revealing their creative side at a special art showcase at Auchenlodment Primary, in Johnstone.
