Dame Mary Berry has made an unusual discovery in TV presenter Lorraine Kelly's wardrobe during the filming of her BBC show Mary Makes It Easy.

The BBC Two show sees Dame Mary lend a culinary helping hand to her famous friends as the "Queen of the Kitchen" shows a host of stars how fun and easy it can be to "whip up a fantastic feast".

Dame Mary has already helped stars including Strictly Come Dancing judge Anton Du Beke and Radio Dj, TV presenter and former I'm a Celebrity contestant Jordan North.

On Thursday's (November 23) show, she turns her attention to Scottish TV presenter Lorraine Kelly.

Lorraine's daughter Rosie Smith has enlisted the help of Dame Mary as she is about to leave for university and is the one who does most of the cooking at home.

So Thursday's episode of Mary Makes It Easy will see Dame Mary teaching Lorraine some basic recipes including Thai-style beer stir fry, a Thai chicken noodle soup and an apple and pear open pie.

Dame Mary makes unusual discovery in Lorraine Kelly's wardrobe

Although there for cooking, Dame Mary "can’t resist" peeking into Lorraine's dressing room.

Riffling through the chat show host's wardrobe, Dame Mary says: “I’ve never seen so many clothes like a shop. Tell me about this one,” pulling out a pink blazer.

Lorraine replies: “I wore that for the Christmas show and I really love it, I like a bit of blingy silliness.”

After Dame Mary tries it on, she says “just a minute”, as she pulls out a blanket with Good Morning Britain presenter Ben Shephard’s smiling face covering it.

Kelly jokes: “It’s a much sought-after thing.”

Dame Mary said: “What is it?”, to which Kelly replied: “It’s Ben Shephard, as a blanket. Every woman should have a Ben Shephard blanket. It’s a must have.”

“I am not going deeper”, Dame Mary adds.

Mary Makes It Easy continues on Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer.
