A MAN is due to appear in court after allegedly being caught with a knife in Paisley.
Officers say they caught the 44-year-old in possession of a weapon on King Street in the town at around 3pm on Thursday, January 25.
He is set to appear in court at a later date.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland: "About 2.55pm on Thursday, January 25, in the area of King Street, Paisley police traced a male who was found to be in a possession of a knife.
"A 44-year-old male will appear at court at a later date."
