AN ALLEGED drink driver has been arrested after he tried to run from cops in Renfrew.
The 24-year-old was stopped by officers just after 12:30am on Ichinnan Road.
The man, who was in a silver LDV van, drew suspicion from the police due to the "manner of driving".
After being stopped, police were forced to chase him after he reportedly tried to run from the officers.
The force says that he allegedly failed the roadside breath test and was arrested and charged with multiple road traffic offences.
A report will be sent to the prosecutor fiscal.
