A van driver was handed a fine after police claimed to have discovered "multiple" issues with the vehicle.
Officers stopped the 28-year-old van driver earlier this morning (February 20) in Johnstone.
They reportedly found the vehicle to have three bulbs which were not working, along with a tyre which was "down to the cord".
The driver was issued with three points and a £100 fine.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "#GlasgowRP stopped this van in Johnstone this morning on their patrols of Renfrewshire.
"Along with three bulbs not working the front tyre was found to be down to the cord.
"The driver, 28 yo male, was issued a fixed penalty notice of three points and £100 fine and a defect form."
