FIREFIGHTERS are currently tackling a blaze in Johnstone.
999 crews responded to the scene on a cycle path between Morrisons on Napier Street and Linwood after the alarm was raised at around 1.32pm today.
Operations control mobilised two appliances to the area.
It is understood that it is a "large pile of tyres" on fire.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We received a call at around 1.32pm on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, to reports of a large pile of tyres on fire at the cycle path between Morrisons in Johnstone and Linwood.
"Operations control mobilised two appliances to the scene. Crews are still in attendance."
