A team of pioneering young entrepreneurs from Johnstone High School will be heading to Hampden Park to take part in the Young Enterprise Scotland National Finals.

Eleven teams took part in the Renfrewshire Regional Final for the Company Programme at The Normandy Hotel in Renfrew.

‘Hive 25’ sell solid scents that are handmade, cruelty-free, vegan and non-toxic in a variety of fragrances.

The Young Enterprise Scotland Company Programme provides real-life learning opportunities for S5 and S6 students.

Emma Soanes, chief executive at Young Enterprise Scotland, said: "The Johnstone team is an inspiration and I wish them every success in the Scottish finals later this year.

"Setting up and running their own successful company is a wonderful experience and will have given them new skills to take forward into their learning and future careers.

"So, whatever happens at Hampden Park, they are already winners."

The other teams included Barrhead High School, Clydeview Academy, Eastwood High School, Mearns Castle High School, St Ninians High School, Trinity High School and Woodfarm High School.

The Renfrewshire Company Finals were sponsored by Graham, Normandy Hotel, GD Chalmers, Business Gateway East Renfrewshire, KLAS Care C.I.C and Framed Estates.

The Young Enterprise Scotland Company Programme Finals will take place from May 28 to 29 at Hampden Park.
