Erskine Community Nursery held its first Family Forestry Fun Day at Boden Boo.
This event was held in conjunction with Forestry Commission Scotland on March 13.
The groups hoped to bring the community together to experience some of the activities the nursery incorporates in their outdoor learning programme.
The event was the joint brainchild of Erskine Community Nursery Chairperson Brenda Mackenzie and Manager Rosie Burns to highlight local forestry and rural sites.
There was den building, forestry art, story telling, rope/skipping challenges and a campfire with singing and hot chocolate.
Parents were delighted with the day out and had very kind words about the event.
Nicola Shea said: “Kids absolutely loved it.”
