Man arrested over alleged serious assault following CCTV appeal
A MAN has been arrested after an alleged serious assault in Johnstone town centre.
Officers released CCTV images following the alleged incident near the Globe Bar at High Street on Friday, May 19.
At around 10.10pm that night, police and ambulance services responded to reports of a man who had suffered significant injuries.
A 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and will appear at Paisley Sheriff at a later date.
Police have thanked members of the public for their assistance in their inquries.
