RENFREW Golf Club was targeted by thieves, who made off with hundreds of pounds worth of goods.
Police responded to an alarm activation on Monday, November 14 between 6pm and 8.30pm.
A window and shutter had been forced open at the club, which is based at Inchinnan Road, and several items were stolen, including drink.
The haul amounted to hundreds of pounds while the club will also have to face repair costs.
Although the golf club will be open today, there will be limited use to the club house.
Chief inspector Simon Wright said: "There was a house break in at Renfrew Golf Club on Monday evening.
"We were alerted by an alarm activation and found that a shutter and window had been forced open.
"A quantity of items were taken to the value of hundreds of pounds as well as damage to the property.
"We are conducting enquiries in the area and ask anyone with any information to contact us on 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
