SWEET-TOOTHED shoppers won’t need a golden ticket to get into a new chocolate factory in Renfrew.
The Cocoa Bean Company is expanding its portfolio by opening a new base at Soar at intu Braehead.
A chocolate workshop will allow children to get hands on as they make their own chocolate products.
And big kids won’t be left out, as there will also be workshops specifically for adults.
The business, which is due to open before the end of this month, will be based at the former Indoor Golf City attraction.
Emma Turley, of the Cocoa Bean Company, said: “There will be five chocolate workshop rooms suitable for the likes of kids’ birthday parties or hen parties for adults.
“Schools can also get involved in educational workshops, such as our bar to bean projects.
“There will also be a marketing enterprise experience that allows kids to design their own wrapper and bar and sell it in our shop.”
The fun chocolate making workshops for youngsters last 45 minutes and will include shaping a bar, decorating a slab and creating a marshmallow design.
Adults can also book in for chocolate cocktail classes, truffle making and lollipop designs.
In addition, there will be a café and a retail unit for customers to purchase sweet treats.
