As investigations into her death continued, friends and family members paid tribute to the 19-year-old, who died after taking a deadly mixture of drugs during a binge at a marathon house party in Renfrew.

In the wake of the devastating news, distraught dad Alex Henderson paid a heartfelt tribute to his tragic daughter, saying he hoped she knew how much he loved her.

He wrote: “Well family and friends my oldest daughter sadly passed away last night now she is with the family and the angels.

“You will be sadly missed by your family love you so much, I hope you knew that. Love Dad until we meet again sweetheart G.B.N.F xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx. xxxx.” Dozens friends and relatives responded to the father’s message by leaving their deepest condolences.

Helen’s frantic fiance Calum Smith — who Helen is believed to have got engaged to in December 2011 — made a desperate dash for help when she turned blue after taking drugs at her house in Paisley Road.

After fighting for her life at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley, drug victim Helen was pronounced dead on Sunday night.

Police believe she had taken MCAT — the street name for the illegal drug mephedrone, also known as Meow Meow — but may have also taken ketamine, a powerful painkiller which can cause hallucinations.

The news has shook large segments of the Renfrew community, with many expressing their shock and disbelief over her untimely death.
