Teena Gould, 66, has revealed her new studio at the Well Road, and is holding a series of workshops in the village.
Using discarded materials such as broken tiles, empty bottles and other unwanted items, talented Teena has created a range of unique mosaic pieces, which previously went on display at the Kilbarchan Guide Centre.
Now she is holding an inaugural workshop in October for local residents to try their hand at the creative art.
She said: “I’d love to encourage other people to begin recycling and using their unwanted rubbish for art as it is a lot of fun and can produce some really fantastic results.
“I’ve now found a way to turn it into something good. It’s a lovely space to be, and inspiring to work in, and I would love to see people here.” The workshop will be held at the Rosehill Studio, Well Road, on October 4 from 10am until 4pm.
