A woman was cut free from a car after it flipped over on a Renfrewshire road this afternoon.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service crews attended the crash on the B789 Barochan Road near Houston just after 1pm.
Firefighters stabilised the vehicle – which was lying on its side – and used hydraulic cutting equipment to create a flap in the roof and gain access to the injured woman.
Paramedics assessed her condition inside the car before firefighters brought her to safety.
She was then moved to an ambulance and taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley for treatment for minor injuries.
Crews were sent from Port Glasgow and Johnstone community fire stations in response to a call from police and firefighters reached the scene within seven minutes of being mobilised.
