WORK is set to begin on a further 176 new homes in Bishopton – the next phase of the Dargavel Village masterplan.

Taylor Wimpey West Scotland will build the mixture of three and four bedroom family homes just off Slateford Road.

There will be 11 styles of homes range from £186,000 for the three-bed semi-detached properties to £286,000 for the four-bed detached.

The masterplan also includes a village centre with a new primary school, library, community centre, leisure facilities, shops, land for healthcare provision and an extensive community woodland park.

Audrey Ross, sales and marketing director, told the Gazette: “We are delighted to launch our third development within Dargavel Village, Bishopton.

“This is an opportunity for us to extend our commitment to the local area, as well as continue to play a key role in creation and delivery of the Dargavel Village masterplan, which is already going some way to assist in the regeneration of the local area as buyers take the opportunity to become part of this impressive development.”
