A DATE has been confirmed for the Christmas lights switch-on in Bishopton.
The village will be sparkling on Sunday, December 3, as the fun event takes place at Bishopton Community Centre.
Carol singing will be held inside the building, while the tree lights will be switched on in the car park.
Refreshments will be available.
The carol service will start at 6.15pm, ahead of the switch-on.
Billy Arrol, chairman of Bishopton Community Centre Association, said: “Following on from the previous successful Christmas tree lights switch-on ceremonies and carol singing, we are delighted to be involved again.
“I am hoping we will have a special, seasonal guest appearance.
“It promises to be a good community event for all of the family.”
