A MAN has been left with severe facial injuries after being brutally attacked in Kilbarchan.
Shortly after 1am on Sunday, July 20, police received a report of a disturbance near to Kilbarchan Bowling Club in Ladysmith Avenue.
And when cops arrived they were discovered a 22-year-old man who sporting injuries on his face from the assault.
He was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley by ambulance, and received emergency surgery. The victim is still in hospital but medical staff describe his condition as stable.
Officers from Paisley CID are continuing enquiries into the incident, and are appealing for information from the local community, and anyone who was present near to the Bowling Club to contact them on 101.
