After six very successful and busy years Anne and Jake Steven have sold the popular Arran View Fishery.

The sale itself seemed to go on for quite a while but in the end all parties were happy with the deal.

Arran View is the embodiment of a modern fishery. Anglers can park their car and be fishing for good quality trout within a few paces. There are two ponds here known simply as The Top Pond and The Bottom Pond. For children there is also a small bait pond where many a small boy and girl have caught their first trout. The ponds are surrounded by gravel paths which make access very simple.

In fact several of their customers used to hire motability style scooters to allow them to fish in comfort.

The place was also well known for its welcome and its food.

The regular clientele will really miss Anne and Jake as will I as they were very supportive of my fly-casting business.

I am sure that they will have a long and happy retirement and that everyone will get behind Jim and Ian as they push the fishery forward.
