Renfrew are quickly running out of matches as they aim to save their Super League status.

This week they head to Yoker knowing that only three points will do as they are increasingly becoming detached at the foot of the table.

As four sides go down Renfrew currently sit six points away from safety and with seven matches remaining the points will need to start coming soon or it’s the Central District League for the Frew next season.

This week they travel to Yoker who are hovering above the drop zone but have plenty of matches left. A win this week for Renfrew will instill some confidence around the place and give them in a boost going into their remaining matches.

William Hill reckon it’s a tall ask for Renfrew this week as they are 10/3 to get a win with Yoker the 1/2 favourites.

Although it looks like Johnstone Burgh will be heading down they will not give up until it’s mathematically impossible to stay up.

Even if they go down Burgh will also have a big say on who goes up in their remaining fixtures starting this week as they head to Shettleston.

Shettleston were the pre season favourites to go up but are now locked in a battle for promotion with seven other sides. Burgh sit 11 points from safety and have eight games left so it’s looking like they will need to win at least six of those to have any chance of staying up.
