A LOT has changed in ten years and social media has been awash with everyone's memories of the last decade.
The #10yearchallenge has been picking up speed on Instagram and Twitter with stars from Miley Cyrus to Gianluigi Buffon getting involved.
We thought we'd dip into the archive - not to mention some embarrasing family pics - and try our hand at it.
Want to feel old before we begin? Lady Gaga's hit Bad Romance was released a decade ago...
Johnstone:
In this picture of the town's High Street you can see how much things have changed from then compared to today (imagine below).
Our front pages:
It was the year of the UK's worst snowfall for decades, Paisley's David Tennant was replaced by Matt Smith as Doctor Who, and the King of Pop Michael Jackson sadly died.
And in The Gazette released that week, we featured this shocking assault of an OAP.
Fast forward to 2019 and we've already had Richard Madden taking home a Golden Globe, half of St Mirren leave the Simple Digital Arena, and chaos over Brexit.
Us:
Steph Brawn, chief reporter
Our very own Mancunian Steph was just leaving high-school at the time with dreams of becoming a music journalist.
Fast-forward to 2019 and - after starting life at the Lancashire Telegraph - Steph loves nothing more than writing all about Renfrewshire.
Jack Haugh, reporter
Jack - who just joined the Gazette last year - was probably stuck in second year maths this time a decade ago.
Not much has changed really, although we did cheat slightly with the original image as it was slightly after 2009. At least the shades have improved...
Our celebs:
Johnstone's Gordon Ramsey got involved, but we don't think much has changed in oor Gordon.
Weatherman Sean Batty also shared his decade in pictures
