PAISLEY and Renfrewshire South Labour candidate Moira Ramage has vowed to give the community a voice if she is handed the chance to be the area’s MP.

Having worked and lived in the constituency for many years, the mum-of-four says she has the best interests of residents at heart and wants to deliver on matters beyond just getting the best Brexit deal.

Mrs Ramage told The Gazette: “I’m going to be offering a voice for the people in this constituency.

“I have a wealth of experience working in this constituency and I want to lean into both the MSPs and the councillors in this constituency to deliver for communities on the things that matter most to them.

“On top of that, I want to tap into all the Westminster issues and the big ticket political issues that arise day to day.

“I’ll be approachable and available. I’m hard-working and I’ll get things done for the community.”

Mrs Ramage is confident she is well aware of the issues that matter in Paisley and Renfrewshire South.

“I know what people are concerned about and what they feel is not being done,” she said. “I want to support people and do what I can as the local MP to better the life of everyone in Paisley and Renfrewshire South.

“If you need a voice, vote for me.”
