A WOMAN has been arrested after allegedly smashing her car into a lamppost in Johnstone.
The 64-year-old is said to have mounted the kerb in Beith Road and crashed into the post at around 9.30pm yesterday.
Officers were called to the scene and the woman is alleged to have failed a roadside breathalyser test.

She has since been released on an undertaking and is due to appear in Paisley Sheriff Court at a later date.
