The man is alleged to have been acting suspiciously in Canal Street
A MAN has been arrested for allegedly prowling around Johnstone homes at the weekend.
Police say the 31-year-old was seen acting suspiciously going in and out of gardens in Canal Street in the early hours of Saturday morning.

When he was approached by officers, it is alleged he tried to make-off in foot before they nabbed him at around 5.30am.
Police say enquiries are ongoing to try to determine if anything was stolen from any of the homes.
