A MAN has been arrested after being found in possession of a pair of scissors in a Renfrewshire street.
The 31-year-old suspect was stopped and searched by police in Renfrew Road, Paisley, at around 11.45pm on Saturday.
It is alleged that, when officers searched him, he was found to have a pair of scissors in his jacket pocket without a reasonable excuse.
He was taken into custody and is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court today.
