Ritchie Park in Johnstone
TWO men have been arrested after thousands of pounds was discovered by police who searched a car in Johnstone.
Officers stopped the vehicle in Ritchie Park at around 7.40pm on Friday, April 2.
It is understood that more than £50,000 in cash was seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
Two men, aged 27 and 28, were arrested in connection with the money recovered during the search.
Police said no-one has been charged but a report into the circumstances of the seizure has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
