Officers who were sent to the scene took a man into custody
A MAN has been charged with stealing a bicycle from a garage in Renfrewshire.
The 35-year-old suspect was reportedly spotted entering the unsecured garage in Hillman Crescent, Paisley, without permission at around 9.10pm on Monday.
A 42-year-old resident then locked the suspect inside and contacted the police.
Officers who were sent to the scene took a man into custody.
A police spokesperson said a report on the matter is to be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
