POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a car was discovered on fire in Johnstone.
Emergency services who rushed to the scene in Hawthorn Avenue at around 2am on Sunday found the vehicle well ablaze.
The car, which is understood to be a Vauxhall Corsa, was left extensively damaged.
Police confirmed no-one was injured during the incident, which is being treated as wilful fireraising.
Detectives investigating the blaze are asking for anyone with information or dashcam footage of the area around the time of the incident to contact them on 101.
